IR Missioin
The name “Institutional research (IR)” appeared in universities in the United States from 1940s to 1950s. At that time, the rapid development of university led to school management and teaching performance being questioned. After that, IR became internal knowledge bank for education.
In order to carry out self-responsibility, master management performance and establish benchmark learning, "data management" became the major responsibilities of all academic and administration. CTU sets up the Office of Institutional Research in February 2017.
IR mission is “data and evidence-based institutional management to attend excellent higher education performance”, which is same as the concept of “quality management station” that proposed by CTU chairman.
